CAPICUA is a collaboration with visual artist Eglé Vismanté.
For Stereo Editions’ 11th publication, the concept of palindrome number or capicua (from the Catalan “head to tail”) is deployed through Eglé Vismanté’s enigmatic white chalk drawings. In the shape of two separate reversible posters, these figures can be appreciated from left to right and back again, creating endless visual combinations on the page.

La 11eme publication de Stereoeditions joue avec le chiffre “capicua” 11 (littéralement, “de la tête à la queue”) : les dessins imaginés par l’artiste lituanienne Eglé Vismanté pour cette édition se déploient et s’apprécient de gauche à droite ou de droite à gauche, comme ce chiffre palindrome, et donnent lieu à un objet réversible, qui s’ouvre en deux posters autonomes.
